Why dive here
With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles and whale sharks - Tanjung Pasir offers some of Redang Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, October.
Tanjung Pasir offers a relaxed dive, good for getting back in the water or for newer divers. The sandy bottom slopes gently, dotted with bommies that shelter a good mix of smaller reef fish and nudibranchs if you look closely. We often spot cuttlefish here, sometimes even an octopus. It’s a nice afternoon dive when you want something easy.
