With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including giant moray eels, sea turtles, sperm whales, lionfish and pufferfish - Bouranga offers some of Apo Reef's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Bouranga offers a drift dive along a sloping reef wall, typically in mild to moderate currents. We’ve often seen reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections and plenty of schooling fusiliers further up. It's a relaxed dive for those comfortable with drifts, good for soaking in the reef's overall feel rather than hunting for specific critters.
