    The Channel of Alad, running through Apo Reef, presents a drift dive experience. Currents can be brisk here, sweeping you along a sandy bottom interspersed with coral patches. We’ve spotted reef sharks patrolling and schools of jacks in the blue. It’s a site best enjoyed by divers comfortable with moving water, offering a good chance to see larger pelagics.

    Drift dive - carry a surface marker buoy (SMB) and stay with your group. Brief the current direction before entry.
