Rock Island - Apo Reef

Rock Island is a straightforward dive, topping out at 18m, which makes it an easy entry for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. The main attraction is the small patch reef around a rocky outcrop, home to schools of snapper and occasional reef sharks patrolling the edges. We’ve found it’s a good spot for macro photography too, if you take the time to look closely at the coral bommies. It’s a gentle introduction to Apo Reef’s bigger sites.
