Tangat wreck - Apo Reef

The Tangat wreck in Apo Reef feels like stepping back in time, a substantial Japanese freighter from WWII resting upright. It’s a good poke around, with cargo holds you can penetrate if you're comfortable, and the bow section remains largely intact. We've seen a surprising amount of soft coral growing on the superstructure, and look for batfish hanging out in the darker corners and the occasional turtle napping on the deck. It’s a solid wreck dive for those with some experience looking for more than just coral.
