With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including giant moray eels, sea turtles, sperm whales, lionfish and pufferfish - Zimisu offers some of Apo Reef's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Zimisu, on Apo Reef, is a reliable drift dive. We often find large schools of barracuda here, sometimes several hundred strong, swirling in the blue. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections. It's a site best enjoyed by those comfortable with moving water, as currents can pick up.
