Philippine Fun Divers - Bohol
The team at Philippine Fun Divers really impressed us. They're based right on Alona Beach, which means quick boat rides out to the nearby reefs. What we love about them is their genuine enthusiasm, it’s infectious. You feel like you're diving with friends, but friends who are absolute pros. We found them particularly good for anyone looking to do their PADI courses. Their instructors have a knack for making you feel comfortable, even when you're fumbling with your mask skills. We watched them with a few beginners and they were so patient, you could almost see the confidence growing. For certified divers, they hit the sweet spot too. Their trips to Balicasag Island were always well-organised, and they know the sites inside out. We had some incredible drifts over the walls there, watching schools of jacks swirl past, and our guide pointed out pygmy seahorses that we definitely would have missed on our own. Our favourite time to go out with them was the early morning trip; before the crowds arrived, the light underwater was just phenomenal. We'd suggest booking those Balicasag trips ahead, they fill up fast.
