Good snorkelling spot to see turtles no need for boat!

This spot in Bohol is exactly what it says on the tin: a great place to snorkel with turtles without needing a boat. We love how accessible it is. You just wade in from the shore and within minutes, you’re drifting over seagrass beds, keeping an eye out for those graceful shapes. It’s our favourite for a relaxed afternoon. The water often has that warm, bath-like feel, and you can spend an hour or two just observing the turtles as they graze or slowly propel themselves to the surface for air. We’ve seen quite a few green sea turtles here, sometimes resting, sometimes just cruising by. While the corals aren't the main draw, the seagrass itself is a vibrant habitat for things like Brown Sandfish and various wrasse. Look closely and you might spot a Threespot Righteye Flounder camouflaged against the sand. Visibility generally holds up well enough for clear views of the turtles. It’s perfect for families or anyone who fancies a casual snorkel, no faff, just turtles.
