With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, mandarin fish and pufferfish - Lighthouse West offers some of Bohol's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Lighthouse West in Bohol offers a solid, enjoyable dive. You'll find yourself drifting along a gentle slope, mostly over sandy patches punctuated by small coral bommies. We usually spot a good number of wrasse here, including the colourful rainbow and dotted varieties, along with the distinctive point-head maori. Keep an eye out for clown and Clark's anemonefish nestled in their anemones, and we've had luck finding red-banded lobsters tucked away in crevices. It's a comfortable spot, well-suited for a relaxed afternoon dive, especially if you're keen on macro life without too much effort.
