With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, mandarin fish and pufferfish - Mamaan offers some of Bohol's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Mamaan offers a gentle slope, dipping from 5m down to around 20m, making it a good fit for newer divers or anyone keen on a relaxed pace. We often spot schools of dusky farmerfish flitting between the corals, and a keen eye will pick out the stout red shrimp tucked away. Look for the distinctive shapes of Triangular and Sunburst Butterflyfish, or the flash of an Orange-lined Triggerfish. It’s a pleasant dive, not overly dramatic, but consistently delivers a good variety of the smaller stuff.
