With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, mandarin fish and pufferfish - Marcelo Ree offers some of Bohol's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Marcelo Ree, off Bohol, is a sloping reef that starts shallow and drops to around 25 metres. We often find schools of jacks circling here, and it's a good spot for spotting reef sharks cruising the edges. The corals are healthy, a mix of hard and soft, making it a reliable choice for a relaxing afternoon dive. It’s a pretty easy dive, suitable for most experience levels.
