Pangas - Bohol

Pangas, off Bohol, gives you a classic Philippine wall dive. It starts around 15 metres, then drops sharply, often past 40. We usually find it’s a good place to drift along, letting the current do the work. The wall itself has a decent covering of hard and soft corals. Keep an eye out for the usual reef suspects – lots of butterflyfish like the Lineated and Sunburst, plus Triggerfish darting around. If you slow down and peek into crevices, you might spot Stout red shrimp or even a Dragon wrasse. It’s a solid dive for anyone comfortable with a bit of current and who appreciates detailed reef life over big pelagic encounters.
