With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, mandarin fish and pufferfish - Sanctuary offers some of Bohol's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Bohol’s Sanctuary offers a gentle dive, making it a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxing second dive. The sloping reef is home to plenty of smaller reef fish – think damselfish, anemonefish, and a variety of gobies if you look closely. We’ve found the currents here are generally mild, allowing for leisurely exploration of the corals and the critters hiding within them. It’s a straightforward, pleasant dive.
