Sunken island - Bohol

Sunken Island off Bohol isn't your typical wreck dive. We're talking about a submerged island, not a ship, which gives it a unique character. Drop down and you're greeted by a top around 15 metres, often swarming with schools of jacks and barracuda. The island then slopes dramatically into the blue, creating some impressive wall diving on its deeper flanks. It's a great spot for advanced divers who appreciate geological formations and the pelagic life that cruises by in the currents. We’ve found the best conditions for exploring its contours are usually in the mornings, before the stronger afternoon currents kick in.
