With 143+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, mandarin fish and pufferfish - Tongo offers some of Bohol's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Tongo offers a gentle drift along a sloping reef in Bohol, maxing out at about 22m. It's a relaxed dive, good for beginners looking to get comfortable with current, which is usually mild here. You'll often find a decent mix of reef fish, maybe a turtle cruising by, and plenty of nudibranchs if you slow down and look closely. We like it as a warm-up dive, a nice way to ease into the Bohol sites without too much fuss.
