Cabakungan - Dumaguete
Cabakungan, near Dumaguete, is a gentle sloping reef, mostly sandy patches with coral bommies scattered through. We find it’s a good spot for beginners, topping out at 21m, with easy currents. Look for garden eels poking out of the sand, and we often spot pipefish tucked into the smaller coral heads. It’s a relaxed dive, good for getting back into things or extending bottom time.
