With 496+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks and octopuses - Cathedral Wall offers some of Dumaguete's richest wall diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest June, July, October.
Cathedral Wall is a good spot for newer divers in Dumaguete. The reef starts shallow and drops to about 21 metres, making it an easy profile to manage. We usually see a decent mix of reef fish here – things like lionfish tucked into crevices and anemonefish guarding their homes. It's a relaxed dive, good for getting comfortable or shaking off the rust.
