With 496+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks and octopuses - Gak-Ang offers some of Dumaguete's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest June, July, October.
Gak-Ang in Dumaguete is a decent introductory dive. It’s a gentle slope down to 21m, fairly easygoing conditions usually. You’ll spot a variety of critters moving through the rubble and smaller coral patches. We’d suggest this for newer divers looking for a relaxed bottom time without strong currents.
