With 496+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks and octopuses - Guinsuan offers some of Dumaguete's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest June, July, October.
Guinsuan offers a relaxed dive suitable for beginners. It’s a gentle slope to 18 meters, a good spot for practicing skills without strong currents. You'll find a decent scattering of smaller reef fish and some invertebrates tucked into the sandy patches. We often use it for check-out dives or when we just want a simple, unchallenging afternoon in the water.
