    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The Sunken Island off Pamilacan is a solid dive for intermediate wreck enthusiasts. Dropping to 22m, it’s not a true island but a substantial, barnacle-encrusted structure, thought to be an old fish aggregating device or possibly a small cargo vessel. Its metal framework is now a home for schooling bannerfish and occasional solitary trevally. Penetration isn't really an option, but you can weave through the girders and observe the growth. It's a straightforward, satisfying dive if you appreciate artificial reefs.
