French Kiss Divers - Malapascua
The team at French Kiss Divers are our kind of people. They're French-owned, which means a certain je ne sais quoi in their operation – organised, efficient, but with a warm, laid-back vibe that’s infectious. We particularly love their focus on smaller groups, it makes a huge difference when you’re hanging out waiting for those thresher sharks at Monad Shoal. We’ve done a few thresher shark dives with them, and their briefings are always spot-on, clear on currents and exactly where to position yourself for the best chance of a good sighting, often just as the light starts to creep over the horizon. Beyond the sharks, they’re fantastic for exploring Malapascua’s other sites. Their guides have an uncanny knack for spotting pygmy seahorses on Gato Island’s wall and they know the best swim-throughs to avoid the crowds. After a morning of diving, heading back to their beachside base for a coffee, with the sand between your toes and the sound of waves lapping nearby, is exactly how we like to decompress. If you’re looking for a professional, friendly shop that feels more like diving with mates, French Kiss Divers nails it.
