Coral Gardens off Siargao lives up to its name, offering a pleasant reef dive that’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon. We usually find it’s quite sheltered, making it a good choice if the conditions elsewhere are a bit choppy. Keep an eye out for Black-back Butterflyfish darting among the corals and the occasional Little Dory hovering near the sandy patches. If you’re patient and peer into the nooks, you might spot a Banded Cleaner Shrimp or a well-camouflaged Japanese Stargazer. It’s a solid, easy dive, probably best for newer divers or those who prefer a slower pace to really soak it all in.
