Jicdup Black Forrest - Siargao

Jicdup Black Forrest on Siargao is a decent intermediate dive, mostly due to the depth profile and potential for current. We found the name fitting, a darker spot with some interesting tree-like corals that give the impression of a sunken wood. It’s not a riot of colour, but the structure creates some good hidey-holes for smaller reef fish and we often spot different nudibranchs clinging to the darker corals. If you’re looking for something a bit different than the usual shallow reef dives around Siargao, this offers a unique aesthetic. It’s a good choice for divers comfortable at 20 meters who appreciate a more atmospheric dive.
