With 82+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), whale sharks and pufferfish - Mantigue Island offers some of Siargao's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest June, August, September.
Mantigue Island offers a gentle drift along sloping reefs, good for photographers and newer divers getting comfortable with current. We often see schools of snapper and barracuda moving through the blue. It’s a pleasant afternoon dive, not too deep, with decent visibility most days. We'd suggest it for a relaxed second or third dive of the day.
