With 477+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and eagle rays - North Atoll - Bird island offers some of Tubbataha Reef's richest reef diving.
Bird Island, on Tubbataha's North Atoll, gives you a chance to drift along a wall that drops out of sight. Keep an eye out for larger pelagics moving in the blue, though the corals along the reef top are worth a look too. This site is best suited for divers comfortable with current and looking for big fish encounters.
