With 477+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and eagle rays - North Atoll - Terraces offers some of Tubbataha Reef's richest reef diving.
The North Atoll’s Terraces offer a series of reef plateaus stepping down into deeper water. Here, we typically see larger pelagic species patrolling the drop-offs, often grey reef sharks and sometimes even a whitetip reef shark or two resting on the sandy bottom. This site is a solid choice for those who enjoy drifting along a wall and keeping an eye out for bigger fish. It’s a good early morning dive to catch the action.
