With 477+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and eagle rays - South Atoll - Black Rock offers some of Tubbataha Reef's richest reef diving.
Black Rock, on Tubbataha's South Atoll, offers a solid wall dive. We've often found whitetip reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections here, with schools of fusiliers hovering just off the reef top. It's a site that rewards a slow drift, keeping an eye out for turtles in the shallower coral patches. Best suited for divers comfortable with moderate currents.
