With 477+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and eagle rays - South Atoll - Black Rock North offers some of Tubbataha Reef's richest reef diving.
Black Rock North on the South Atoll is a solid wall dive. We often find good schools of snapper and barracuda here, especially in the early morning. It’s a good spot to drift along, keeping an eye out into the blue for bigger pelagics. We’d suggest this one for divers comfortable with current.
