Tagbak Marine Park
Why dive here
With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Liloan Sogod Bay offers some of Visayas's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Liloan, at the southern tip of Sogod Bay, often gets overlooked for its flashy neighbours. We find it’s a reliable spot for a relaxed dive, usually with mild currents. Expect to see some decent hard coral growth along the slopes, with resident angelfish and butterflyfish pottering about. It’s a good choice for divers who prefer a quieter pace or those looking for an easy second dive.
