BUKOM - Southern Islands
Bukom, tucked away in Singapore's Southern Islands, is one of those sites that keeps you coming back, not for grand coral vistas, but for the quiet charm of a wreck. The deepest parts sit around 21 metres, making it comfortable for advanced open water divers. What you'll find here is a hull, still largely intact, a skeletal structure that’s become a home for all sorts of critters. We often spot schools of fusiliers darting through the superstructure, and if you look closely, lionfish are usually tucked into crevices. The wreck itself offers some good penetration opportunities for those with the right training, and it’s a great spot for macro photographers to hunt for nudibranchs and smaller crustaceans.
