SINAR LAUT - Southern Islands
The Sinar Laut, a motor vessel that went down in 1981, sits upright at 45 metres off Singapore’s Southern Islands. It's a deep dive, naturally, but for those with the training, it’s a pretty compelling wreck. We’ve seen quite a few fusiliers around the superstructure and the odd batfish cruising by. The visibility can be variable, as with much of Singapore, but on a good day, it’s a fascinating structure to explore. It’s a good challenge for advanced divers looking for something a bit different in Singaporean waters.
