With 263+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, dugongs, giant moray eels, seahorses and sea turtles - SUMBER INDAH offers some of Southern Islands's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, November.
Sumber Indah isn't your typical Singapore dive, and that's precisely why we like it. Sitting in just two metres of water, this motor vessel wreck is more of a snorkel or shallow freedive expedition than a scuba outing. You'll find the hull largely intact, draped in soft corals and sponges, a real contrast to the usual reef dives here. It's a fantastic spot for macro enthusiasts, with nudibranchs and small crabs tucked into every crevice, and we've seen schools of juvenile barracuda circling the superstructure. If you're looking for something different, a shallow exploration with a camera, Sumber Indah delivers a surprisingly engaging experience.
