Suwa Maru - Southern Islands

The Suwa Maru, a Japanese cargo ship, lies broken in 30 metres of water, a site for experienced wreck divers comfortable with deep profiles. Currents here can be strong, often making for a challenging dive. We've found the hull sections host a good number of snappers and barracuda, and occasionally a turtle cruises past. It's a proper wreck dive, not a reef, and suited for those keen on penetration if conditions allow.
