With 177+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, giant moray eels, whale sharks, clownfish and pufferfish - Koh Taru offers some of Koh Lanta & Phi Phi's richest diving.
Koh Taru is a good option for newer divers, with a maximum depth of 19m. It's an easy dive, often calm, and the relatively shallow depths mean good light penetration for spotting reef fish and the occasional leopard shark resting on the sand. We find it's a relaxed spot for getting comfortable in the water.
