Payar Island House Reef - Koh Lanta & Phi Phi

Payar Island House Reef is a solid pick for a relaxed afternoon dive, especially if you're fresh out of open water or just want to shake off the rust. It’s a shallow site, topping out at 14m, with generally mild currents, making it very comfortable for beginners. We've spent plenty of time here just cruising over the sandy patches and finding juvenile sweetlips tucked into the small coral heads, along with parrotfish munching away. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, too; we often spot a few colourful ones if we take our time. It's not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's a pleasant, easy dive where you can really focus on your buoyancy and enjoy the smaller stuff.
