Red Rock and Purple Rock - Koh Lanta & Phi Phi

Red Rock and Purple Rock are a pair of submerged pinnacles, a little off the beaten path from the main Phi Phi sites, and that's a good thing. The diving here is mostly wall dives, with some interesting crevices and small caverns to poke around in if you're comfortable. You'll want to keep an eye out into the blue, particularly during the right season; whale sharks and manta rays do pass through here, making it a bit of a lottery dive. The currents can pick up, so we'd suggest this one for advanced divers who are happy in a bit of a washing machine, but on a good day, it can really deliver.
