Why dive here
With 173+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, whale sharks and clownfish - Deep Six offers some of Similan Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Deep Six in the Similans is an advanced drift dive, best tackled when the currents are running. We drop onto large granite boulders forming swim-throughs and small caves, often sheltering white-tip reef sharks and resting leopard sharks. Keep an eye out in the blue for schooling fusiliers and trevally. It’s a site for experienced divers comfortable with surge and navigating cracks in the rock.
