Why dive here
With 173+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, whale sharks and clownfish - East of Eden offers some of Similan Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
East of Eden, on Similan Island 7, offers sloping reefs and some interesting bommies. We usually find schools of fusiliers, occasional reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections, and plenty of anemonefish closer to the surface. It’s a good spot for a relaxed drift, suitable for most experience levels. Watch for the resident moray eels tucked into the coral heads.
