With 173+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, whale sharks and clownfish - Hin Klai offers some of Similan Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Hin Klai is a shallow Similan Islands site, topping out at 17m. It’s a good spot for newer divers getting comfortable in the water, or for longer safety stops. You’ll find a sandy bottom with a smattering of coral bommies, home to smaller reef fish. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, though not one for big pelagics.
