Why dive here
With 173+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, whale sharks and clownfish - Hin Phae offers some of Similan Islands's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Hin Phae sits off Similan Island 3, a compact reef of bommies and coral patches. It’s an easy drift, suitable for newer divers and those looking for a relaxed afternoon dive. You’ll typically see plenty of reef fish: anemonefish, wrasse, and parrotfish picking at the corals. Keep an eye out for blue-spotted stingrays tucked into sandy patches.
