    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Koh Tachai Pinnacle is a solid dive, a big granite boulder rising from the seabed, and it often delivers. We’ve had some truly epic days here, particularly when the currents are running and the bigger pelagics come to play. It's known for whale shark sightings, and while those are never guaranteed, the sheer volume of schooling fish – fusiliers, snappers, trevally – makes it exciting regardless. The coral is mostly hard corals, lots of staghorn and table corals, clinging to the rock face. We’d suggest this one for more experienced divers; the currents can be quite strong, making it a drift dive at times, but that's often when the action really picks up.
