Mai Thon - Similan Islands

Mai Thon is a gentle site in the Similans, ideal for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. The reef plateaus around 12 meters, making it easy to cruise over the hard corals. We often spot plenty of parrotfish and smaller reef fish here, along with the occasional cuttlefish. It’s a good spot to get comfortable with your buoyancy without strong currents.
