Palong Bay - Similan Islands
Palong Bay on Similan Island Number Three is a gentle, shallow dive, perfect for newer divers finding their fins or those wanting a relaxed second dip. We often find it's a good spot for spotting schooling yellowback fusiliers and the occasional reef shark cruising the sandy patches. The coral here is mostly hard coral, branching out and forming plenty of little nooks for parrotfish and angelfish. It’s an easy drift along the reef, usually with a mild current, making for a pleasant, undemanding dive.
