Purple Rock - Similan Islands

Purple Rock, up in the northern Similans, is exactly what it sounds like: a big rock, often with a purple hue from the resident soft corals. It's an exposed site, so expect some current, which helps bring in schools of fusiliers and trevally. Look closely among the rocks for nudibranchs and flatworms. This site is best for experienced divers comfortable in stronger currents.
