Racha Noi, Banana Rock - Similan Islands
We often drop into Banana Rock for a gentle, easy dive, especially when the main Racha Noi sites are a bit busy. It’s a shallow spot, topping out at 17 metres, making it great for newer divers or anyone looking for a relaxed bottom time. The landscape here is mostly rocky, with plenty of small crevices to peek into. We usually find plenty of lionfish tucked away and often spot schools of yellowback fusiliers cruising by. It’s not the most dramatic reef, but it’s consistently pleasant and a good place to unwind.
