Why dive here
With 173+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, whale sharks and clownfish - Ray Bahn offers some of Similan Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Ray Bahn offers a straightforward dive, good for getting your fins wet in the Similans without too much fuss. We've often found it a comfortable spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed multi-level profile. You'll likely encounter the usual Similan suspects here: triggerfish, fusiliers, and the occasional turtle gliding past. It's a decent enough dive, nothing spectacular, but reliably pleasant.
