Richelieu Rock - Similan Islands

Richelieu Rock stands alone in the open sea, an isolated pinnacle often drawing big pelagics. Schools of barracuda and trevally circle the main rock, while leopard sharks sometimes rest on the sandy bottom. Whale sharks are regular visitors, especially during the plankton blooms. We find it best for experienced divers comfortable with potential currents, offering a strong chance for larger animal encounters.
