    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Whaleback Rock in the Similans offers a relaxed dive, perfect for beginners or a chilled-out second dive. The site is a collection of large granite boulders, some breaking the surface, creating interesting swim-throughs and sheltered nooks below. We often spot pipefish and small reef sharks tucked away, and the soft corals here are surprisingly colourful for a rocky site. It’s a great spot to practice buoyancy and enjoy a slower pace.
