Blue Coral Diving - Hoi An & Cu Lao Cham
The team at Blue Coral Diving are the real deal, a crew who genuinely love the water and sharing Cu Lao Cham. We’ve found ourselves back with them time and again, drawn by their laid-back vibe and the way they make everyone feel like an old friend. If you’re looking to dive or even kick off your instructor career in Vietnam, they’re PADI 5 Star IDC rated, meaning top-notch training with a personal touch. Forget the big, impersonal operations; these guys offer a relaxed, well-organised day out. Our favourite days with Blue Coral usually start early, grabbing a Vietnamese coffee before heading out. They know the Cu Lao Cham sites inside out, often finding us a quiet corner even when the main spots get a bit busy. We particularly love the drift dives along some of the outer reefs; you just float past schools of fusiliers and the occasional eagle ray gliding by. They’re excellent at spotting the smaller stuff too – often pointing out a nudibranch tucked away or a tiny porcelain crab in an anemone that we’d have completely missed. Expect a solid lunch on the boat and stories swapped between dives. A big plus is their dedication to keeping the sites clean; they often incorporate a bit of clean-up during the day.
