With 154+ marine species recorded in the area - including hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, tiger sharks and napoleon wrasse - Cucumber Alley offers some of Great Barrier Reef's richest diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest January, February, March.
Cucumber Alley on the Great Barrier Reef offers a relaxed drift. We often see green sea turtles here, grazing amongst the corals, along with reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections. It's a good spot for newer divers wanting to experience a gentle current and for photographers looking for an easier approach to wide-angle shots.
